Tanner

I came to faith in Jesus Christ at a young age, around 9 years old, at a church camp in Southwest Oklahoma which radically changed my life forever. I would later accept God’s calling into ministry during my college years.

My favorite verse of Scripture is Ephesians 1:7, “In Him [Jesus Christ] we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.”

I have been married to my beautiful bride, Darrilyn, for 8 years, and have one vivacious toddler, Emma.

I have been the Student Minister at FBCSB for over a year.

I enjoy laughing, playing the guitar, writing songs, reading literature, DRINKING COFFEE, collecting coffee mugs, wearing mismatched socks, and losing at Settlers of Cataan.

I graduated with a B.A. in History at Northwestern Oklahoma State University and have my Master of Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

I believe that coffee is the quintessential food group; full of vital vitamins and minerals.

Personal weakness include the following: pastries, white chicken chili, and crunchy peanut butter.

A fun fact: Tanner is left handed, but in his right mind.
