PLAN YOUR VISIT
We know visiting a new church can be stressful, so we want to make your visit at First Baptist Church of St. Bethlehem as easy as possible. Here are some helpful tips for you before you visit.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Every Sunday morning we offer two worship services for you to choose from: 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM. The 8:30 AM service is a traditional experience, with a piano and hymns. The 11:00 AM service offers a more contemporary experience, with a full band. Dr. Jeff Burris, our pastor, preaches the same biblical message in each of these services. On occasional Sunday evenings we have a 6:00 PM service offering a more blended experience with a unique message from Bro. Jeff.
The dress for worship ranges from shorts and a t-shirt, to suits, and all in-between. Wear what makes you comfortable. We want you to feel welcome when you worship with us.
Our main parking lot entrance is located at 2232 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard, Clarksville, TN 37040. Parking spaces marked “Guest Parking” are just for you! Access to our parking lot is also available from Fairview Lane. The best door to enter when you are new is through the main doors (under the portico) marked “Worship Center.” Our Welcome Team will be there to greet you and point you in the right direction!
FBCSB is all about family! Childcare is provided for birth – Pre-K during our 8:30 AM and 6:00 PM worship services and from ages birth to three during most ministry events. At 9:45 AM we offer age-appropriate Bible Study classes for ages birth to grade 12. Come to our Welcome Desk in the main lobby, and we will gladly help you select the classes that meet your family’s needs. Students who are in grades 6 through College can also find assistance in Lobby 2 at the Student Ministry Welcome Desk.
We have something for everyone! During the 9:45 AM hour we have a Sunday School class for all ages, from birth – senior adults. When you arrive for your visit, let us know if you want to attend Sunday School, and a member of our Welcome Team can help you find the best class to meet your needs. Once we have found a great class for you, we will show you to your class and introduce you to the leaders and other members of the class. As Bro. Jeff always says, “You don’t know what FBCSB is all about until you are a part of our Sunday School Ministry.”
We invite our guests to take a moment to complete a guest card so that we will have a record of your visit. Stop by the Welcome Desk in the main lobby to obtain and submit completed cards or a member of our Welcome Team will provide one for you during worship services. If time permits, our Welcome Team would love to meet you at the Welcome Desks in the lobbies. Feel free to stop by, introduce yourself, and ask any questions you might have about our church.
